Officeworks are an office and stationary supplies store operated under parent company Wesfarmers.

Challenge

The Officeworks Christmas campaign was aimed at gift givers to choose a thoughtful gift on the lead up to Christmas by showcasing to users that Officeworks has the perfect gift when gifting or family are top of mind.
In Particular they wanted to focus on females aged 45+ with emphasis on gifts for their children, friends or work colleagues across different environments to increase reach.

Solution

To reach this audience at scale and to showcase products with high impact solutions Interplay opted to use their grassroot sports channels to run desktop/mobile truskin and roadblock display activity in the lead up to Christmas.
The daypart messaging updated as we approached the last few days of Christmas indicating the urgency as a call to action, coupled with heavy frequency capping to drive the appropriate reach metrics.
