“Back to the Bar” BVOD
The Australian Hotels Association (AHA) represents more than 5,000 members across Australia serviced by a network of branches based in every state and territory, plus a Canberra-based National Office.
Challenge
The Australian Hotels Association wanted to encourage people to come back into local pubs since the Pandemic, with particular focus on the 18-44 age bracket.
In order to do this they requested marquee events around sports with a retargeting component to drive further user engagement from the awareness objective that video provides.
Solution
Interplay utilised BVOD (Broadcast Video on Demand) across key marquee sports content on Kayo and SBS channels which includes AFL and NRL season completions as well as associated sports video content to drive engagement.
We then looked to retarget this audience pool with display activity encouraging the audience to “see you at the Pub”!
