James has over 12 years of digital experience working across Australasia and Europe. James joined the start up team at uSwitch.com, the pioneering utility comparison service, which went on to be sold to EW Scripps (Quote: SSP) in 2006 for £210m. In 2007 he joined the management team at ad pepper Media, the pan European ad network. There, James led the development of company products including the successful launch of www.isense.net in Sept 2007 which went on to win several European ad awards including the 2009 Festival Of Media award. James spent 3 years at ad pepper Media successfully building their contextual media network to over 1000 publishers, before moving to Australia in late 2010.

Simon has been in the media industry for over a decade. He was introduced to digital advertising in 2004 working across the Men’s Lifestyle titles at ACP Magazines, including Zoo Weekly, Ralph and FHM as well as launching Top Gear Australia. In 2008 he moved into the field of action sports developing the digital offering at Coastalwatch Media. After 3 years there he made the move to Vice Media as a Business Development Manager successfully bolstering the client base for the company. He now finds himself at Interplay Media merging his love of sport with his passion of the media industry.

Ben Murray – Digital Operations Director
Ben has over 16 years’ worth of experience in the digital sphere working across UK and Australia. His career began in the year 1999 looking after Premier League football clubs advertising, campaign management and reporting. In 2005 he joined Trinity Mirror PLC to lead the operations team for the newly revamped Digital platform. His achievements included delivery of a front-to-back end operations system between accounts, sales and online operations, overseeing the buyer network and remnant advertising projects, growing and developing the online traffic team & assisting National Account Managers on briefs/technical specifications. Ben moved to Australia in December 2008 where he joined APN News and Media as there Advertising Operations Manager. As of 2014 Ben headed up the Online Operations Division responsible for onboarding programmatic, online creative services through Sizmek & Flite & training and managing online operations personnel. His achievements include delivery of Mobile, Desktop and Video SSP partnerships, development of internal creative division capable of delivering IAB Rising Stars ads & successful adserver migrations across ARMs 34 (soon to be 65) websites.

Corey Ahearne – Digital Sales Manager
Combining a passion for sport and all things digital, Corey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Interplay Media. After leading a successful sales team at a large liquor wholesaler, Corey fell into Digital Media through a few beers with a mentor from Trinity Grammar School, where he was educated. Corey had an enormous influence at Australia’s largest online Marketplace
network – The Exchange Group, where he led FurnitureExchange.com.au as the National Sales Manager and was instrumental with BikeExchange.com.au in its major partnership with the Tour Down Under. Corey will commence his MBA studies in July to compliment an Applied Science degree at RMIT. When he isn’t getting excited about Digital Advertising campaigns, Corey loves improving his Spanish and plans to run a sub-75 minute Half-Marathon in August.

Ed Wyatt – Advisor & Sport Personality
Ed Wyatt has worked in the Australian sports media for the past eleven years as a writer and television/radio commentator. He is currently heard on 1116 SEN sports radio in Melbourne, writes for the BackPageLead.com website and teaches a course in sports media at RMIT University.Ed started his Australian media career in 2000 at SBS-TV, where he worked as the Melbourne Sports Bureau Chief for the nightly, national show Toyota World Sports. He hosted the Super Bowl telecast live on SBS for seven years and was part of OneHD’s Super Bowl panel in 2009 and 2010. Ed also created and co-hosted the groundbreaking, award-winning Born in the USA radio show on SEN with Steve Salisbury.Prior to his 1999 move to Australia, Ed helped launch the Fox Sports World network (now Fox Soccer) in Los Angeles, and won five Emmy awards as a writer/performer on the Almost Live! sketch comedy show in Seattle. Ed is a graduate of Stanford University.
